When I first saw the picture I didn’t really take it in. I looked past the man to my daughter. I recognized the pose, hands on hips and the tilt of the head, and I thought, oh dear. What’s that child so angry at now?
And then I looked more closely and saw the gun.
Yes, the gun is definitely not in the light; one has to search for it (kind of like those puzzle pictures where odd things are drawn into a perfectly normal setting). But I see it now…
